Sensory Integration program
Children with functional disorder due to their inability to respond to sensory stimuli need methods to deal with their body and respond well to various environmental stimuli.
The intervention program focuses on:
· Maintaining balance.
· Sensorimotor skills or body sense of emptiness.
· Motor planning.
· Tactile reception of information.
· Coordination of motor and visual systems (vestibular system).
· Training on bilateral motor coordination.
Furthermore, this intervention program assist in achieving self-fulfillment, competency, improve social and emotional development, stimulating the brain, shifting from visual learning to abstract learning, and reducing learning difficulties.
